We can’t quite believe how quickly Carnival has come around this year.

We’re really looking forward to our very first Deviation Carnival Session this Sunday (29th August) at CAMP Basement. Featuring DJ Zinc (Back to 95 Jungle Set). Geeneus Ft Katy B & Tippa (House & Funky), Groove Chronicles (Classic Garage Set), Martelo (Hip-Hop set), Benji B (Carnival Set) and Judah (MC/Selector), we’ve covered all bases to make this session a carnival classic and have TWO guestlist (& 1 concession each) up for grabs.

All you have to do is email your FULL NAME to RSVP@Deviationmusic.net with the subject line: DEVIATION CARNIVAL SESSION and we’ll pick a name at random.

This week Benji B on 1Xtra saw part two of August’s Midnight Request Line.

We’ve invited DJ Zinc back to Deviation where he will playing an exclusive Back To 95 Jungle Set, Rinse.FM founder and producer Geeneus will be making his debut at Deviation and will be providing the house and funky sounds alongside  Katy B andTippa. Noodles aka Groove Chronicles will be spinning a Classic Garage Set, while Martelo will be providing the Hip-Hop, resident DJ Benji B will be spinning a special Carnival set alongside Judah who will be hosting and selecting some tunes for the session.

We kicked off the first of our two sessions in August with Quest & Actress in the basement. With both of them providing deep sounds, we were blessed with hearing some of Quest’s forthcoming non 140 tunes, while Actress went deep into his crates pulling out some Detroit techno, rare soul and house tunes that got the dancefloor moving.
